Subject: feeding fist calf heifer


Elkhorn river bottom eastern Nebraska
We had to take a big bull calf out frm the side of a heifer, was wondering what you folks do for groceries
after something like this? since she is still growing dont really want to short here anything, pre calf been
feeding alfalfa and some grnd ear corn, it seems here bag is geting tight, Is that from to much ear corn,alfalfa, or what? should I just feed her grass hay? thanks.
