WY, OK | Depends on the weather, we can keep 150 in barns overnight if need be, then they can go out on a couple dozen acre lots in the day, when the weather gets warm enough with no wind they go out on about 100 acres during the day. As I've said before there is nothing wrong with calving right now you just have to have the facilities. We had several born outside in the -20 to-30 during the nights and all survived, of course then we had a heifer have one when it was +5 and that one decided to die. | |
