Woodham, Ontario | Looking to upgrade TMR mixers. We will have cows and heifers about 5 miles away and still have most of the feed at the home place. Thinking about getting a truckmount mixer, but the limiting factor is height. We're using a John Deere 544H (regular Z-bar linkage). Looking for a twinscrew vertical in 1100-1250 cubic feet range. Maximum height about 120-126". Hard to get specs on mixers online.
Right now I think a Penta HD1120 is the largest mixer we can load with our current loader, but open to other suggestions. Any suggestions for trucks. Only have experience with pull-type mixers. | |
