| Polio is treatable if caught soon enough. It is basically a thiamine deficency from what I recall. If it goes without treatment the go into seasures (sp) and die. Symptoms are blindness and deafness and it just gets worse from there until death. Are you feeding WDG? If it's an ongoing issue ya might check the sulfur levels.
I don't claim to be an expert like some on here...just a been there done that deal. Had a heifer with it once. :)
