could you grind a pile next to a fenceline and just hand shovel some hay to them every day,just what they would eat,thats how I start unweaned calves!Then just sprinkle the distellers on top.
Use to feed 22 cows ground earcorn,and hay by hand-always put the poor hay along thebunkline,then i put the earcorn on top,seems like they cleaned it all up because they were still looking for the earcorn!
