The $1/day should cover everything if running with someone else's cows: grass, hay, mineral, etc. So yes 5 x $365 = $1825. You could just have the vet bill you for 5 head and work everything together as one bunch. Trucking? How far and how big a trailer? If it takes another load because of your 5 then help a little, but would guess most of the time they would be along for the ride if it's a good neighor, buy him a little fuel.
