We have some alfalfa on the home farm, but that would require crossing a river.  And then the rest of it is 2 miles away...  Alfalfa need the K, except in our situation.  Our soil are super rich in K... like 800 to 1000 kg per ha.  I sometimes wonder if it would not be more profitable to mine potash out of those soils rather than farm it ;)
