Yes and No.
On the truss arch buildings, the ratchet is standard equipment.
On the laminated wood arch, and the single pipe buildings, the standard equipment for tightening is rope. I have never used this system, I always quote and order with the pipe and ratchet kit. It makes tightening SO much easier.
