Holly Island, AR | That's very well said, and so true it seems. There is some old stations around that have the old songs, i'd like to see some newer artists go more traditional. Don't have to be just like the old ones, i realize this is 2010, but songs like Billy Curringtons "People are Crazy", now that was a good one. I'm hoping that the success of Easton Corbin might push a movement to more countryfied songs. It's the pop stuff that gets me, it's like bad rock and roll....lol. Some of you might get this station, but C106 in Cape Giraurdeau MO, 106.1, has good country music, strong station to. Cousin Carl in the morning is great, and talks alot of agriculture, and farm markets. I love it, he'll play you good ole country, then try to sell you a center pivot...lol. | |
