Central, IA | When we used to milk, dad would breed holstein 1st calf heifers to angus bulls for an easy calfing scenerio. Great calves. Would keep the heifers out of those as beef cow replacements and the steers would be matched up with the rest of the beef cow calves. The beef / dairy cross calves always outgained the straight beef calves. I would not be afraid of these calves at all. | |
