We feed in regular rings. There is very little to zero waste. If its good baleage, they wont waste a thing with rings. I've found though that its best to set the bale length wise (as it comes out of the baler) If we set it on end, a lot seems to fall out/get stepped on. Also the wider the feeder the better, think ours are 8 1/2 foot if I remember right. Yes, do try and post pics of your feeder gafeeders, would like to have a look at them.
