| I currently feed 20-30 steers out a year mostly for freezer beef, I am feeding ground corn / supplement / hay mix that I mix in my hammermill and feed in a steer stuffer. I would like to try some baleage this summer as I would rather sell corn than feed it to steers and I have access to more than enough hay that can be put up as baleage. Also I can have baleage baled and wrapped for $12/bale. Is there any type of round bale feeder that works better than others for feeding baleage, I do not have access to a vertical mixer. Any advice is appreciated. | |
