Subject: Selling calves?

north west arkansas
I am considering selling some spring calves before to long, and I am wondering if I have lost my mind. The top end is weighing in the sevens, and I know even though my feed is costing a fortune it would probably still pay to keep them a while longer. I believe cattle should stay high or get higher, but I am not convinced our economy can support these beef prices especially with gas pushing $3. I allways thought the $3 gas was a big reason our economy took such a down turn in the first place. I also wonder how high grain can get before it begins to hurt calf prices. What are everyones oppinions on this? I have been visiting friends for the last 4 days and I guess I have had to much time on my hands to think.
