The one I broke today appears to be a forged type spear. The break looks to be a cast type metal. Its a tapered squared spear and it has bent several times in the past so I would losen it in the mount and give it a half turn so that the bend curved upwards. Guess metal fatigue caught up with it today. Its a Westward unit.
