Southeast Wyoming | Ron, I have a Mi brand wireless keyboard from WalMart that I use with my Toshiba laptop all the time. Lately I've been have similar problems with it not working. It also has a usb "fob" type deal that transmits the signal to/from the keyboard. I've changed batteries to no avail but unplugging the usb device and replugging it will usually cause it to work. Sometimes simply the number pad on the right side does not function and toggling the number lock a few times will get it going. Once in a while this laptop will beep as if a usb device disconnects and reconnects when I have not touched a usb device connection. I've blamed it on a cheap keyboard but I wonder if XP upgrades could be affecting them somehow?? | |
