.....who got a new quick-hitch for her tractor for Christmas!!    :-)

Last spring, we bought a little CIH Model 45 tractor with a loader and a 3pt finish mower to do the huge areas of our yard and keep the landlords' bin sites, etc mowed up.  It pretty quickly got nicknamed "Mom's" tractor, cause I do most of the mowing.  Well, everyone was happy with the mowing arrangement except for when I'd need help hooking up the mower and I'd have to pull somebody off another task.  (I'm generally pretty self-reliant, but have to admit challenges when anything involves accurate backing up.  I think it's a form of farmer lysdexia)  So when we had our Christmas celebration here at home last nite, my gift was a new quick hitch so now it's just a matter of hooking up the PTO.   I'm not sure who's gonna be more appreciative come spring time:  me, my husband and sons, or the young man who works for us who is usually who I sidetrack to help me!
