A mono culture situation where an entire city (in this case) exists solely for one "product" or driving economic force (which sounds better??)  suffers severely when that 1 reason for existance is removed.

It never ceases to amaze me how Many cities have just been abandoned because that one sole reason for existance was removed. 

I've been looking for days now trying to find stuff on Agriculture. Only thing I found was a huge Grain mill/storage facility which had been abandoned.  Looked like the craziest dang place in the Country to put it. I didn't see any shipping facilities or farmland in the scenery pics to support it at ALL !!   Had to be a 1st class money loser putting something like that so far way from production/shipping/any major cities at all.

I think that's what happens when any government fails to use even the most basic economic concepts.
