| gettwing CoolWebSearch on a machine is a good time to just re-so the machine.
One of my machines got it once....person using it had so much other crap on it that it was a good time to completely re-do the machine. A few years ago, this was a nasty trojan to get....keeps re-installing itself from hidden files.....if not completely clean, it will come baqck. I heard that the CWSreadder people finally gave up trying to get around it, and gave up. Other programs, such as Spybot were helpless with this.
I'm no expert....but struggled with it just enough to decide to re-do the machine......and maintain a desire to someday meet in some dark alley the jerk-programmer that developed the nasty program. | |
