Saronville NE | Ive seen those Heartland shredders on 535s but none around anymore. Rake and shredd everything anymore it seems, I rake it all myself. Im considerin not doing any cornstalks next year, to hard on balers and rakes, by the time you get done doin 1k bales and send baler into shop for winter inpection you spend a 1/3 of the revenue rebuilding the baler then theres no money left over, besides using more netwrap then alfalfa also. Also our nutritionist around here doesnt like cornstalk bales, would rather have you feed straw or bean stubble bales or crappy CRP hay over cornstalks. | |
