butter vs margarine

Butter comes from milk.  I've seen butter being made and understand the ingredients. I cook with butter, especially frying eggs etc..

Margarine come's from what ?? I can't even begin to pronounce the ingredients. 

The other issue for me is taste. There is no margarine that can begin to compete with butter.

The situation that never fails to amaze me ??   Ever notice how all the people who's grocery cards are full of "low fat" this, "no fat" that, literally a cart full of no calories,, always seem to be as least as big as their grocery carts ??  lol
