WY, OK | We are avg. around $3300 for a 2yr old herf bull this year, was under $3K a few years ago but when salvage values are well over $1K now the prices are going to go up. We sold two of them for slaughter and got around $1200 ea. Cheapest I have seen 2yr old bulls go has been around $2400 and that was for some with horrible EPD's.
We've always been a fan of reds over blacks, reds just have a better temperament all the way around. Oddly I think BWF are better than RWF though. | |
