Subject: Freezer Strips

Capac, Michigan
I have been thinking about putting freezer strips in the doorways of my barn. Does any body else use them? These would be for milk cows, where doorway is open to the east which is where they can go from their freestalls out to the barnyard, where their feedbunks are, and to get to holding pen. Doorways are 10' wide by 12' tall. When looking in FARMERBOY AG SUPPLY catalog I see there is overlap %'s what would be the best? SNOW and WIND are my issue, when it comes from that direction it puts a dusting of snow in my stalls and the cows won't lay in the first four stalls. Barn is only 42' wide so that only leaves 6 stalls they will use until it stops. Thanks!
