Subject: RE: Wireless outdoor network

(1)Call this company:

http://www.electro-comm.com/index.html

(2)Ask for this product:

http://www.tranzeo.com/products/radios/TR-6000-Series

(2a))Get the one with a "N" adapter so you can add an external antenna. The one I got came with everything including the cable (everything I needed but the antenna.)

(3)Order an antenna (these are just a few examples, likely you will need a different antenna for your situation)

(4)Setup device in appropriate location

(5)Plug in your ethernet w/Internet into the Tranzeo radio.

(6)Setup the Tranzeo unit as an acceptable Access Point with appropriate security. If you don't know much about this, get some help with someone familiar with Access Points.

If this is indoor, an indoor device will be cheaper. I have several outdoor 'hotspots' set up around the farm, I also have over a half-dozen point-to-point links, a from 300+/- feet, several a few miles, one six miles, one twelve miles. Any point on the farm can get wireless internet (or our farm private network) using these devices. ( I can print to a printer 20 miles away)
