| Never said he was a friend - just a classmate. He was not a hardcore user either - very few were back in those days. He survived, still in the area, doing just fine, probably still popping a few pills and smokin' weed. Now you can rest tonight knowing the only harm to him was a few bucks out of his wallet and his mind playing tricks on him thinking he was getting high off of Tylenol.
As for "helping" him... The whole class knew about it - he wasn't bashful about talking about it. I guess if I am guilty of not "helping" him, so are 24 other people - a lot more than that if you figure in upper and lower classmates that knew it.
I'm willing to bet that you (likely all of us) had some classmates that you knew were into drugs and/or alcohol. What did you do to "help" them? | |
