I stay at a lot of hotels/motels around the country and it seems the chains have figured out one way to get and keep repeat customers in a competitive business is to provide a very good mattress and night sleep.  I have to admit when pulling of the interstate at an exit with 4 or 5 similar price range hotels to choose from, I will go with a Hampton Inn because of their mattresses.

Absolutely the best one I have ever used. I tried to find out what brand it was to buy one for the wife and me at home. Found out it is a special design of their own and you can buy it online.

Haven't bought one yet but this is the best mattress and bedding combination I have ever found on the road . Not that expensive compared to other prices quoted above in this thread but this one gets my vote. You lie down and next thing it is morning...although it could just be I am dog tired.... Even my wife liked this one when we traveled to visit kids & grandkids this summer.

Not all Hampton Inns have them but where they do I enter a spot on my GPS.
