I didn't realize you and I went to school together!  lol     We had the "same" 4th grade teacher.   My best friend's sister was 2 years ahead of us.  When she was in 4th grade, this teacher knocked her out of her seat in class with a book up side the head.  Can you imagine if that happened today?!?!?   Anyway, knowing all this, by the time we were in 4th grade we were terrified to do anything out of orneriness.  But there were the boys in the class.  A group of them were kept inside for recess as punishment one great spring day, but our teacher had playground duty.  She'd check on them occasionally, but otherwise they were alone.  Decided to make paper airplanes.  Fine.  Except for the part where they wrote their names on the wings and one plane went out the window onto the playground below.  There was hell to pay that day, believe me.
