NESD | Kevin, I have been to the Moon Palace a couple times and am going back Jan 1st, there are three sections to Moon Palace, The Sunrise that is for members (That is where we stay) The Nizuc that is for guests that book thru travel agents Ect. and the Grand Mayan, I think the Grand is also a member resort, they are on the same complex and easy walking between them.
If I remember right there are 14 restaurants to choose from so you can get everything from a hamburger to sushi, Sunrise and Nizuc are arranged so that every room has an ocean view and the beach is OK, it is nicer to the north where all the other resorts are, the only thing is that seaweed washes up at night but they are really good about cleaning it up early in the morning.
As for domestic beer, I don't know for sure as I usually drink whiskey, they have some North American whiskeys there that some of the resorts don't offer.
All in all it isa fantastic place to vacation and you will have a great time. | |
