I use hog panels for peas and tomatoes. Since Dad got out of hogs he had huge pile of them not being used. For peas, I leave them setting on the ground, 3 T posts per panel. For tomatoes, I raise them up off the ground about 6" and use 4 T posts per panel. I made a grape arbor out of 2 hog panels in an arch. Been thinking about doing some thing similar for those maters. Should work just fine I would think.
