| First of all, there is not one silver bullet that will bring prices back immediately. Everybody has good points but the to me the truth of the matter is that we are all better managers than we were 10 yrs. even 5 yrs. ago. We are using and adding new technologies to help us become more efficient which usually means making more milk. I think what we need to do as producers is to push our creameries to find more markets for our milk and to find other things that our milk can be used for. That is what the corn and soybean growers did. They figured out we could make ethanol from corn and ink from soybeans. We need to quit blaming eachother for overproducing and come together and find different places to go with our milk. For instance you don't see the crop guys blaming eachother for producing too much corn do ya. | |
