Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | No brands? Nothing is as easy to ID as a branded animal. Brand inspection required here as well before they ship, would hopefully get noticed then as well.
The Mrs. and I bought some heifers from a neighbor (large outfit) before we got married to start a cow herd. They'd already been branded with their brand, it is surprising the number of people who notice the wrong brand in my pasture. We earmarked all them to eliminate a problem if they ever got mixed up, which could happen as we'll share a fence line once and a while. | |
