North Mo. | About a month ago I took 2 900# steers to my lower farm put them on a very high quality forage. They liked to lay by my neighbors cattle. The other day he said he hadn't seen my steers, so today nice day took a ATV ride and I didn't see them either. I got to thinking you don't supposed my feedlot larger operator got them. Sure enough Friday they saw them standing by their feedlot and just proceeded to get them in. Good thing I looked today as they were to shipped out Monday AM. You think they would have called, however in their defense I don't normally have 900 plus steers but still gee. I know I would be embarrassed, but I doubt if he is. Ben | |
