I like my handles to be long enough to come out below my hands. Copper wire, baling wire, coat hangers, brazing rod, fork off a fruit tree(hold the two parts out of the fork, let the stem stick out in front). Like db1212 said, some can, some can't, crazy thing. You gotta have the "gift".
