A local cropduster saw a big cat from the air a few years ago and when he landed he called Dept of Wildlife to report it. In a very condescending tone he was told "Sir, there hasn't been a breeding population of big cats in La in over 50 years." He told the guy "well he was just running, I didn't say anything about fu%@#&*!".
