I agree, class basketball has really hurt IN HS basketball. But I think that shows more in the playoffs than it does during the regular season. Still, football doesn't seem to be growing much in popularity. At my old HS football has almost become a joke. IMO, they doomed football when they included soccer as a HS sport. :~(
