NC Indiana | I can buy a small herd of home raise 90% b angus P1 bred vac cows 5-6 yrs old for $900/hd and I can sell the 4-500# blk heifers I was going to keep from my cows I know nothing about for $1-1.10/#. Planning to keep heifer I have my cows w/ known backgrounds for '12 replacements.
Or should I keep buying the small lots of P1 bred cows (blk,bwf, r) for $5-$600 and roll them every couple yrs?
