South Central South Dakota
I take my hay shreader out and shread the bales in a feedline style and its 98% cleaned up the next day. or if i want it for bedding i adjust the deflector and let it shoot out makes real nice for beding calves down in the winter.

Otherwise not a bad ideal alot of time we skip the step of setting it down and cutting it and force the bucket on it to break the strings and then roll the bales down a good size hill we have in our yard. and they seem to clean it up for the most part but still perfer to shread them
