| That seems to be the way all the wanna be purebred angus rich boys operate. They go around buy up cattle for 5 or 10 years, then have a big dispersal. Then they do it all again. I have heard all kinds of reasons for why they promote them as dispersals and none really make sense to me, other than politics seem to run much deeper than cow sense or common sense and that business. For the salebarns, I think quite a few dispersals are a big pool of trader cows trying to be marketed at a greater value than they were bought for, though some are legitimate. It may just be one of the jockies having a dispersal of what he had in his pasture before he starts filling it back up again. | |
