KS | I have been getting more dispersal sales literature for registered Angus than in the past. Probably part of the reason is they keep finding genetic defects and we are having to test for it, which is expensive. Then having to cull out those cattle that were worth a lot, now not at all. I know I have been getting fed up with it, and other producers I have talked to have the same feeling. If it wasn't for the kind of money I have been getting for bred heifers I probably would have thrown in the towel too. | |
