NC Indiana | Dad watched 1000-1200 P1 black and bwf cows sell for <$600 at local barn friday. 400-500# blk feeders were $1-1.10/#. We were going to save several heifers, but at these prices we might as well sell most of them and have cows to calve next spring. Local guy is selling small herd of 80% b angus cows 6/7 yrs olds P1/2 asking $900 each bred reg b angus. Saw another guy selling 1st through 3rd calf cows/heifers for $800-900 (red vs blk).
Mark wish you were closer and we needed more hd than we need. We would like some red cows. | |
