Nevada, Iowa | ............. Miss Vicki and I used to take in a few events a year. We're lucky enough to have several nice event centers pretty close to home but we just don't enjoy them any longer. Seems like there is either a group of drunks near us or just some obnoxious drip that thinks the entertainer needs to hear him over everything else. My biggest peeve is the volume at music events. The last concert we saw was Brooks and Dunn and Reba and it was probably 15 years ago now. I am deaf as a post but I swear my ears were bleeding when we left. I have been at indoor tractor pulls that didn't hurt that bad. We ended up leaving early because we were in pain. Maybe we are just stodgy, old foofs but concerts are just not fun anymore.
