Glasgow, Ky | Value of the dollar vs other currencies, fund speculation, weather and strong world demand are supporting grain prices. Do not see the Fed being that concerned about ag prices. Government/Fed will get involved only if it is politically expedient for them to do so. Appears we have price inflation in the ag sector vs deflation in housing and other sectors. Farm land has not been recognized by the general public as a good investment. Real estate to a majority means housing and commercial properties. They have not connected the dots yet. | |
