your comment on Lanworth is interesting --if only because Gulke has made comments about undercounting of prevent planting acres in the Dakotas....the phrase "it takes too to make a market" comes to mind...
yes, I believe those boys in Wahpeton have a large forward book.......as do quite a few others.....noted that a couple of Poet plants in IA/Mo were saying they have no corn buying capacity until December.....which was odd given lean Missouri corn prospects this year....
Test weight on corn coming into our plant in SC Iowa averaged 56+ in Aug and Sept this year.....improved all spring/summer... | |
