exports by a government entity.
My question was more in relation to Corn and not so much wheat in this situation . Was not so much concerned with when to
sell as to what the long term effects would be on export markets in general .
Since Ag is the lead in export at this time how would this further damage are balance of trade in the world?

On the surface of what you posted, I would consider using options. If you sold (contracted) with your local elevator, at that time you would buy a call option(s). If the price goes up, you gain through the option . . . . The question then comes, when to sell the option and take profits ? There are many considerations to your question - I have not considered, this is a simple option example, for marketing your wheat . . . . |
