Subject: Real dumb question

Jerseyville,IL
Will the government jump in if the corn average came in under
155 bushels per acre ?
Given the current leaders in charge could we see
a curtailing of exports in an effort to stabilize end user
( IE consumer food buyers ) prices .
If so how would this effect prices of grain , stability of the dollar
world wide, USA position as a grain/food supplier?
Remember that keeping the public feed cheap is part of the
goal for either party when in power.
Would they just curtail corn or all grains in general?
Just would like to here some thoughts , as specially S.C. s
since he went thru the Carter embargo time period .
Thanks
JB
