october options expire this friday

november options expire oct 22

don't bull call spread

don't sell puts along with call purchases

to clarify-- don't do any options spread strategies up front, after this big rally. Good thoughts from the poster about waiting on an up move to sell higher call. Just don't do it up front. Stay in these serial options months for now. No need to pay up for Dec options after volatility has already spiked through the roof. Buy something that expires sooner, but costs a heck of a lot less.

Also, beware of bucket shop operator that continuously recommends multiple legs on options or costantly rolling options. Those get very commission intensive, which is EXACTLY why they recommend them.
