I'll take your word for it. What is the differance this year? Last Fall we hadn't even started corn in my area till Oct 28th. The US, SA,& Russia were all swimming in large supplies of wheat. And some Farmers were focusing on how large LDP payments were going to be. A fair comparison may be the Fall of 2006. The market moving up (Corn) and everyone sitting in line trying to figure out the market. But, that was the Fall when everyone cheered when $3.00 cash corn was reached. So yes your're right markets can go down and they can go up. And records are made to be broken. How many acres of wheat will the US plant this Fall? Where are those extra acres coming from? This year's price action is nothing compared to last year.
