| Basis may be real interesting around here Paul. Soybean basis has already been abnormally narrow for Nov/Dec considering how far out we are, sometimes at the money at Burlington. If all the April planted corn is in the bin by early October with lousy yields, and all that is left to harvest is the corn planted/replanted really late, the cash market could turn into a doozie. Probably the only reason it hasn't already is all of the junk quality old corn that needs a few weeks to work out of the system. | |
