IL | Most of the guys are running in my immediate area, and everyone is quiet on yields. We know what it is, and it hurts to have to repeat it. Ground that normally produces 180-220 corn, this yr is running 140-170. ( even one field of 100 bpa. ) Off 10-20 bpa is one thing, but off 50-60 is another. This isn't totally from drown out holes, but, I saw today, the kernal are very small. My own tw is in the 57 area, ( some is lower), but kernal size is as much as half the size at times. If the CBOT, or USDA won't admit it, basis will decide things. When the corn is needed, buyers will have to bid for it. | |
