I posted this on one of the discussions below, just not sure any saw this response. I will also not that the 222 was on bean stubble and the 198 an d 179 was 6th year COC spring applied NH3 at 200 lbs of actual N.
Illiniwek, Tara is very accurate on the yields around Moweaqua. The 198 and 179 are my farm yields that were hauled to the local elevator and is 15% corn. Just for giggles i will post the yield from my April 1st planted field which is also hauled into the elevator and is at 15%. Granted this field has very good roll and drainage which is a help this year. This field made 222 Bushel/acre across the local elevator's scale. So there is some good corn in Illinois. Just be careful when you start calling people out on this site, you might run into others that can validate the responses.
