WE get along with the Parmak 12 volt. also have a 12 volt Gallagher that has run 2 years no turn off in moderate brush I found out yesterday it still works. Stay away from a 6 volt imo. Like said look to dealer to rep under warranty 9 months is a bit short. Ben
